The Niigata Society of Health and Welfare was established at the same time as Niigata University of Health and Welfare was established as a place for people majoring in health and welfare-related professions in Niigata Prefecture, including Niigata University of Health and Welfare.
This Society is not an academic society for individual professionals only, but a gathering of a wide range of professionals from all professions related to health, medicine, and welfare, and a place where these professionals can exchange information with each other. It is an academic grouping of "team medicine" as it is, which is a unique feature of this society.
